I was late coming into journalism but have proved my worth with 2 diplomas, and a distinction to my name in freelance journalism. I have been published many times both locally and nationally.
During my training I have proved to be versatile with the ability to write for other mediums and and on various subject matter. I would like to specialise in writing about the environment and social issues although as suggested I can be more general.
I have a sharp eye for detail and review my work diligently until i am satisfied as well as having each article proof read. i enjoy and have proven skills in researching and interviewing. As well as having a fresh approach to my writing i am adaptable and keen to learn new styles to conform to various publications.
I aim to be a full time freelance journalist who will write over a wide spectrum of subject matter. I want to be independent but work closely with editors and liaise with other journalists. My goal is to be a fully paid up member of my community and to serve that community.
